You may want to display the Product Location in your warehouse to sort them and easily pick and pack the orders.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to show the products' location itself because Shopify does not have a field for storing the location of products in their system, so there is no standardized way to pull it up and display it in the documents.
Luckily, there's a workaround here. We suggest using the "SKU" field to store both the bin location and the SKU of the products. This makes it possible to sort by bin location and SKU in the Picking Lists and other documents. A lot of stores do this and work great for them.
For example, you could change your product SKUs in Shopify from being:
SKU1234
To being:
BIN01-SKU1234
Once this is done, you may easily sort them by SKU (bin location) in the Picking Lists. You just have to do the following:
On the app, go to 'Settings'
On the Document design page, go to the editor and locate the Options and Formats option.
On the PRODUCT AND ORDER DETAILS section, sort products by SKU
