Providing customers with professional invoices and receipts for their purchases is a must-have for all Shopify stores.

OrderlyPrint makes it easy to provide all customers with invoices, either as a PDF download or printed and included in packages.

Printing Invoices/receipts

You can print invoices for your Shopify orders, by doing the following:

  1. Login to OrderlyPrint: https://www.orderlyprint.com

  2. On the main "Dashboard" page, select the orders you want to print invoices for.

  3. Click on the "Invoices" button.

  4. A new window will open with a preview of your selected invoices.

  5. Click the "Print" button in the top right corner.

💡Pro Tip: When viewing the invoice preview screen, you can click and type to change text before printing. Great for adding personal messages to customers!

Automated invoices for customers

Provide customers with invoices automatically by adding a PDF download link to your Shopify emails and website. When a customer clicks the link, they'll automatically receive a PDF invoice for their order.

You can include the download link in the following places:

  • Shipping confirmation email

  • Order confirmation email

  • Order status page

  • Customer account page (Only for Classic account page)

How to setup automatic invoices for customers:

  1. Login to OrderlyPrint: https://www.orderlyprint.com

  2. Click on "Settings" in the top menu

  3. Click on the tab "Automated PDFs"

  4. Follow the one-time setup instructions

Once set up, everything will run automatically. No time wasted manually printing, no more wasted paper and ink.

Note: If you are setting up the link to the account page, the instructions above are helpful if you're using the Classic customer account. Unfortunately, we can't enable our PDFs on the New customer account page because Shopify limits apps' access.
