Note: If you have purchased a custom template from our Order Printer Templates app, see the "Importing a purchased template from Order Printer Templates" guide instead.

Migrating your existing templates from the Shopify Order Printer app, into the Order Printer Pro app is quick and easy, and only needs to be done once.

Copy your existing template code from Shopify Order Printer

1- Login to the Shopify Order Printer app: https://shopify.com/admin/apps/order-printer

2- Click the "Manage templates" button in the top bar:

3- Click on the blue link of the template you would like to bring into Order Printer Pro:

4- Copy all of the template code in the "Code" field

Add this code to a new template in the Order Printer Pro app

1- Login to Order Printer Pro: https://orderprinterpro.com/templates

2- On the "Manage templates" page, click the "Create template" button:

3- A new template is created, and a "Setup template" pop-up will appear.

4- Select the "Blank template" from the list

5- Remove any code in the "Code" field, then paste in the code you copied earlier:

6- Complete the "Name" field, and choose if this should be the "Default template for" any of the available order types.

7- Click the "Save" button, and you are done!

8- Repeat for any other templates you would like to migrate.

💡Tip

The "Default template for" checkboxes control which templates are automatically selected when you access the app, from the different links in your Shopify admin.

For example, when accessing the app from the "Orders" page in your Shopify admin, then any template with the "Default template for" setting enabled on "Orders" will be generated automatically.
