Including Shopify order tags in picking lists

How to include Shopify order tags in the app and documents, for faster picking and packing tasks when needed.

Tags are a great tool to keep organized and facilitate faster picking and packing tasks.

OrderlyPrint can not only display tags given within the app, but also Shopify order tags. For that, you simply need to do the following:

  1. Login to OrderlyPrint (Shopify admin -> Apps)

  2. Go the Settings > Tags

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page until “Shopify Order tags”

  4. Enable the “Show order tags added through the Shopify admin” option.

Note: The second option “Sort dashboard Tags column by Shopify date tags” will be useful if you are using an app like Order Tagger (by the team at Union Works) to automatically tag your Shopify orders with date information, such as delivery dates. Once you have all your tags set up, you can include them in the Picking List document. Here's how:

  1. Login to OrderlyPrint (Shopify admin -> Apps)

  2. Go the Settings -> Document design page

  3. Go into the "Options and formats" section of the editor

  4. In the “PICKING LIST SETTINGS” section, enable the check-mark "Show order tags column".

Note: Please make sure you also have enabled the “Show order details lists” setting as well.
